Jake D. Long is an American actor, martial artist, and 4th Generation Sword Master under the tutelage of the 2nd and 3rd Generation Swordmasters to the Stars Anthony DeLongis and Kendall Wells. In addition to graduating from UC Santa Barbara with Bachelor of Arts in Theatre and Performance, he studied Meisner technique privately with American actor Jeffrey Meek for 2 years, and Michael Chekhov’s “Technique of Unforced Reaction” with Director Nikolai Guzov from the St. Petersburg Academy of Theatre Arts. His philosophy is called “The Formless Sword” which is a fusion of both new and old artistic approaches that he continues to research and teach in the present.
